Anne was born and raised here in Bristol and spent a very happy childhood running amok on Bedminster Downs with her friends and younger brother. An early interest in games and computing lead Anne to obtaining her degree in Electronic Games Technology at DeMontfort University in Leicester, and this in turn created an exciting opportunity to move to the United States. So, Anne, being the fearless go-getter she is, packed her bags and made the move across The Pond to the fine state of New York. And there she stayed for the next six years until homesickness for her family and friends (and of course the wonderful city of Bristol!) became too much, and she returned home. Anne’s computing skills, as well as her steady, calm, hardworking and friendly personality, have made her an indispensable member of our RH team, and as a bonus, she gets to spend more time with her mum, who is no other than our very own Alison (can you see the family resemblance now?!)! In her spare time, gaming is still a very big part of Anne’s life and many an hour is spent honing her skills whilst battling her friends and others in the online gaming community. It also influences some of her other interests too, including Cosplay (for which she makes all her own costumes from scratch!), binge watching anime, livestreaming and organizing themed events (standalone and at conventions) to raise money for charity. Our Anne is also a bit of an entertainer; she loves singing, acting (having partaken in her fair share of Amdram) and dancing – she was in a performing dance group until her mid-teens! Not only this, but she quite likes her sports including swimming, Karate (she has made 2nd brown belt), and has competed at county level for Bowls. Plus did we mention that she has also run FOUR marathons?!
